WEDDING VENUE: THE WOODLANDS HOUSE | SANDY, OREGON

The Woodlands House, in Sandy, Oregon, is one of the most magical venues I have seen near Portland. The property is a thick forest with several cleared areas that can serve as ceremony sites, cocktail areas and receptions spaces. This contemporary wedding was the perfect juxtaposition to the organic and wild forest enveloping it. I was pretty obsessed with the tablescape, as you can see below! The planner, Bright Night Design, brought together the perfect pieces to complement our floral designs. The aim was a fairly monochromatic palette, inspired by a sunrise, with pops of peach and citrus. The black plates rendered this wedding design absolutely striking and unusual. Lastly, the velvet linen from La Tavola, in the shade called “Blush”, set this design over the edge in contemporary beauty!! Dramatic statement, I know, but so true.
